Rex Group, a leading Australian airline and regional express carrier, is seeking a highly skilled Airline Revenue Strategy Expert to join its Network Strategy Team.

Based in Australia, this role offers an exciting opportunity for an individual with strong analytical skills and experience in revenue management to maximise revenue performance on flights operated by the Rex Group across the Domestic and Regional Networks.

The ideal candidate will have excellent numerical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make sound business decisions based on analysis of market performance. Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel, is also essential.

This challenging role reports to the Manager, Revenue Management and Pricing and requires daily use of the Revenue Management System to drive revenue growth. The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Analysing market performance to understand changes in demand and adjusting inventory accordingly;
  • Implementing revenue management and pricing initiatives to improve flight and route performance;
  • Producing clear and effective performance measurement reports from large volumes of data;
  • Monitoring and reviewing competitor strategies;
  • Developing and implementing inventory strategies on assigned markets;
  • Making pricing recommendations on assigned routes to improve revenue performance;
  • Maximising revenue through daily use of the Revenue Management System;
  • Communicating market performance to management and relevant stakeholders effectively.

With a competitive salary estimated at AUD 80,000 - 100,000 per annum, depending on experience, this role offers excellent career opportunities for individuals who thrive in a fast-paced commercial environment.

  • A proven track record in revenue management or a related field;

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel;
  • Prior experience in the airline or travel industry is desirable.
