Job Description

As an Asset Manager, you will be responsible for the integral daily management of large-scale solar plants in Australia. Your primary goal is to ensure best practice for safety, quality, and environmental performance while enhancing the overall returns and value of each project.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Policies, Processes, and Procedures: Develop and implement policies, processes, and procedures to ensure compliance with all relevant procedural/legislative and contract requirements.
  • Portfolio Management: Manage a portfolio of up to 5 sites with a capacity of approximately 1000MW, located in Australia.
  • Total Return Maximization: Maximize total return for each asset through analysis of system efficiencies and identifying opportunities for improved performance.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Establish collaborative relationships with EPC & O&M contractors to maximize safe asset performance and operation.
  • Team Relationships: Build strong team relationships and establish effective communication and collaboration practices with client-owners.
Daily Asset Management Operations
  • Operations Management: Manage day-to-day operations of the Asset Management organization, providing guidance, encouraging teamwork, and facilitating related professional work processes to achieve high performance standards.
  • Contract Review: Review and manage all SPVs contracts for obligations and other contractual parties, including insurance.
Performance and Monitoring
  • Site Performance Review: Review site performance and analyze potential optimization projects/actions.
  • Monitoring Platforms: Regularly review site performance on monitoring platforms.
  • Financial Budgets: Monitor and control all financial budgets.
  • KPI Reviews: Conduct monthly reviews of operational and financial KPIs, identifying opportunities for improvement.
Contract Management
  • Contract Oversight: Oversee main contractors (including EPC and O&M) to ensure compliance with obligations.
  • Contractual Processes: Manage contractual processes such as PAC, IAC, FAC with EPC Contractors in coordination with the Technical department.
  • Maintenance and O&M: Monitor and influence all maintenance and O&M activities.
  • Contract Relations: Maintain and grow good relations with all contractual parties and manage potential contract modifications.
