**Job Description:**

We are seeking an experienced professional to manage large-scale solar plants in Australia, ensuring optimal performance and compliance with contractual agreements.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the daily management of these sites, including safety, quality, and environmental performance. They will also oversee the optimization of Asset Management operations in Australia, streamlining processes to align with global standards.

Responsibilities:

  • General management requirements: Contribute to develop policies, processes, and procedures to ensure all relevant procedural/legislative and contract requirements are fulfilled.
  • Manage a portfolio of up to 5 sites with a capacity of ~1000MW located in Australia.
  • Maximize total return for each asset through analysis of system efficiencies and identifying opportunities for improved performance.
  • Establish a collaborative relationship with EPC & O&M contractors to maximize safe asset performance and operation.
  • Build strong team relationships and establish effective communication and collaboration working practices with client-owners.
  • Support divestment initiatives as required and in line with business strategy.

Daily Asset Management Operation:

  • Manage day-to-day operations of the Asset Management organization, providing guidance, encouraging teamwork, and facilitating related professional work processes to achieve high performance standards.
  • Review and manage all SPVs contracts for SPVs obligations and other contract parties, including insurance.

Performance and Monitoring:

  • Performance review of sites, including analysis of potential optimization projects/actions.
  • Regular review of site performance on monitoring platform.
  • Monitor and control all financial budgets.
  • Monthly review of operational and financial KPIs, identification of improvement opportunities.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

The ideal candidate should have:

  • Knowledge of Australia and global renewables market (large-scale solar PV and Battery storage).
  • Understanding of key contracts to manage and awareness of critical stakeholders to manage for a based solar or Battery asset.
  • Knowledge of the Solar (and BESS preferably) asset lifecycle.
  • Technical knowledge of large-scale solar and Battery assets.
  • Strong process orientation and technical IT skills to support automation of processes.
  • Proficiency in SAP financial systems.

Experience:

The ideal candidate should have at least 5 years' experience in the role, preferably in the solar market. They may have worked for financial investors active in the renewable space internationally, IPP, or a vertically integrated developer.
