The Asset Manager is a pivotal role in the successful operation and management of large-scale solar plants in Australia.
This position entails the integral daily management of multiple solar plants, ensuring best practice for safety, quality, and environmental performance while enhancing overall returns and value.
As an Asset Manager, you will support processes optimization for Asset Management operations in Australia, streamlining and aligning with global processes to facilitate scale.
Main Responsibilities- Develop policies, processes, and procedures to ensure compliance with relevant legislative requirements and contractual obligations.
- Manage a portfolio of up to 5 sites with a capacity of ~1000MW located in Australia, maximizing total return for each asset through analysis of system efficiencies and identifying opportunities for improved performance.
- Establish a collaborative relationship with EPC & O&M contractors to optimize safe asset performance and operation.
- Foster strong team relationships and establish effective communication and collaboration working practices with client-owners.
- Support divestment initiatives as required and aligned with business strategy.
- Regularly review site performance and analyze potential optimization projects/actions.
- Monitor and control all financial budgets, including monthly review of operational and financial KPIs, identification of improvement opportunities.
- Collaborate with the Financial Manager to analyze P&L variance and CF Forecast and Solar plants Budget.
- Prepare stakeholders' reporting.
