We are working with a global biotech company specialising in immunology, focused on improving the lives of patients with severe and rare autoimmune diseases.
This role presents an opportunity to join at the ground level and contribute to building the local medical function as the company expands into Australia.
Key Responsibilities- Developing strong partnerships with key opinion leaders (KOLs) in neurology, immunology, and rare diseases
- Leading engagement and supporting the execution of medical strategy in QLD
- Representing the company at major scientific conferences and engaging with clinical trial sites
- Using evidence-based communication to build advocacy and influence external decision-makers
- Bringing external insights back into the business to shape go-to-market strategies
- A degree in a scientific or healthcare-related field (postgraduate qualifications are advantageous)
- Previous experience in medical affairs or as a Medical Science Liaison within the pharmaceutical industry
- Therapeutic experience or interest in rare disease, neurology, immunology, rheumatology, or haematology
- Strong communication skills and confidence to engage with senior clinical stakeholders
- A proactive approach with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
