Job Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled philanthropy professional to join our team in Western Australia.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage a portfolio of major donors, trusts, and foundations
  • Formulate a WA-specific philanthropy strategy and business plan
  • Re-engage and deepen relationships with current and lapsed donors
  • Compose compelling cases for support and tailored funding proposals
  • Identify new prospects and create a pipeline of long-term supporters
  • Host donor engagement and stewardship events across WA
  • Collaborate with the national philanthropy team to align strategy and processes
  • Work with internal teams to ensure proposals reflect key program priorities
  • Provide in-person support and donor care to WA-based philanthropists
  • Forecast income and report against agreed KPIs

Requirements:

  • Proven experience managing major donor or high-value client relationships
  • Ability to secure large philanthropic gifts (e.g. $50,000+)
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to engage with diverse donor base
  • Strong communication and proposal writing skills
  • Strategic planning and organisational skills with strong mindset
  • Experience working with CRM or fundraising databases (e.g. Raiser's Edge)
  • Understanding of donor journey and moves management
  • Knowledge of Australia's philanthropic landscape, trusts, and foundations
  • Willingness to attend events and meetings outside regular hours when required
  • Full working rights in Australia
