Job Description

FTI Consulting is seeking experienced professionals to join our team in Brisbane, Perth, and Melbourne.

As a key member of our Mining Business Transformation practice, you will work with clients to improve performance, accelerate growth, and unlock long-term value.

  • Client Advisory & Engagement: Lead and deliver strategic advisory services to mining clients.
  • Program Leadership: Design, lead, and oversee business improvement programs.
  • Stakeholder Management: Engage effectively with client executives, site leadership, and operational teams.

You will leverage deep knowledge of mining operations to tailor practical and implementable solutions, utilizing operational and financial data to drive root cause analysis and performance tracking.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Experience in mining business improvement advisory services is essential. You should have a strong understanding of strategy setting, productivity and cost transformation, MOS and Lean, operating models, value chain optimization, and operational readiness.

  • Digital Transformation: AI and data-driven transformations, simulations and dynamic planning, digital twins, and nerve centres.
  • Infrastructure & Asset Management: Asset management strategy, asset criticality, life of asset planning, asset benchmarking, and coaching and training.

Bachelor's or Master's degree or equivalent industry experience is required. MBBS or Big Four experience is preferred but not essential. Ability to travel within the country and internationally is also necessary.
