  • About the Role

  • The philanthropy team is responsible for managing major donors, bequests, trusts, and foundations. As part of the national philanthropy team, your role will involve developing meaningful relationships with philanthropic individuals, families, and charitable organizations.

  • You will be responsible for fulfilling the interests and needs of these supporters and providing them with encouragement and opportunity to give, thereby extending the reach and impact of our programs.

  • Key Responsibilities:

    • Managing a portfolio of major donors, VIPs, and charitable foundations by creating individual goals and communication plans based on giving history, donor interests, and potential.
    • Identifying new potential supporters through events and resources.
    • Producing written proposals and reports articulating our need and impact.
    • Executing donor plans and modifying as circumstances change, involving stakeholders as appropriate.
    • Creating opportunities for donors to give, including making qualified and direct asks.
    • Supporting major donor/partner events.
    • Driving bequest messaging throughout our organization.
