Job Summary:

Safely operate road trains, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in optimal working condition.

This role requires experience operating in an on-road and off-road environment. The successful candidate will possess strong attention to detail and a commitment to safety.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Loading and Unloading
    • Load and unload materials using a front-end loader.
  • Maintenance and Safety
    • Maintain accurate records of mileage, fuel, and delivery times.
    • Conduct regular vehicle inspections to ensure optimal performance.
  • Driver Requirements
    • Hold a current and valid Commercial Driver's License with appropriate endorsements.
    • Possess a Commercial Drivers Fatigue Management Certificate (validity within 2 years).
    • Hold a National Police Clearance.

Key Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Road Train Operator – carting triple side tippers and self-loading with a front-end loader.
  • Experience operating in an on-road and off-road environment.
  • Knowledge of road safety regulations and best practices.
