We are seeking a skilled Heavy Diesel Mechanic to join our team in Kalgoorlie.

The successful applicant will play a vital role in keeping our fleet moving safely and efficiently, diagnosing, servicing, and repairing prime movers, tankers, trailers, and dollies. Key responsibilities include:

  • Performing scheduled servicing, maintenance, and engine tune-ups.
  • Diagnosing and repairing air brake, steering, suspension, and driveline systems.
  • Troubleshooting ABS/EBS braking systems and vehicle lighting.
  • Maintaining and repairing tanker fuel delivery systems.
  • Ensuring roadworthiness of all vehicles before they leave the workshop.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A trade qualification (mechanical or heavy vehicle).
  • Experience in a similar role (2+ years).
  • Strong knowledge of heavy vehicles and transport equipment.

Job DescriptionAbout the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and experienced Heavy Diesel Mechanic to join our team in Kalgoorlie. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our fleet.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform scheduled servicing, maintenance, and engine tune-ups on prime movers, tankers, trailers, and dollies.
  • Diagnose and repair air brake, steering, suspension, and driveline systems.
  • Troubleshoot ABS/EBS braking systems and vehicle lighting.
  • Maintain and repair tanker fuel delivery systems.

Requirements
