Your Role

As a Heavy Diesel Mechanic, you'll play avital role in keeping our fleet moving safely and efficiently. You'll beresponsible for diagnosing, servicing, and repairing prime movers, tankers,trailers, and dollies, ensuring all work meets safety and compliancestandards.

Key responsibilities include:

• Performing scheduled servicing, maintenance, and engine tune-ups.
• Diagnosing and repairing air brake, steering, suspension, anddriveline systems.
• Troubleshooting ABS/EBS braking systems and vehicle lighting.
• Maintaining and repairing tanker fuel delivery systems.
• Ensuring roadworthiness of all vehicles before they leave theworkshop.
• Accurately recording all work completed on fleet assets.
• Following safety protocols and industry regulations at all times.

What We're Looking For

• TradeQualification (Mechanical/Heavy Vehicle)
• Experience in asimilar role (2+ years)
• Strong knowledgeof heavy vehicles & transport equipment
• Experience withtruck & trailer repairs (road transport preferred)
• Aircon ticket& Refrigerant Handling License (desirable)
• Cert II TyreFitting (desirable)
• Ability to pass apre-employment medical & obtain a National Police Clearance
