Key Responsibilities:

  • Maximise equipment availability, reliability, and productivity through technical support, diagnostics, and troubleshooting.
  • Report on regular machine issues.
  • Create detailed technical documentation and provide recommendations/resolutions for equipment performance issues.

Role Requirements:

  • Trade certificate - Relevant Heavy Equipment Trade or Engineering Qualification
  • Broad-based knowledge/experience working on heavy equipment
  • Field Service Technician experience preferred, with exposure to breakdowns, repairs, and diagnostics
  • Mine-site experience a plus
  • Able to read hydraulic and electrical drawings
  • Understanding of maintenance targets, including availability, reliability, parts management, and component lifecycle management
  • Able to troubleshoot hydraulic, mechanical, and electrical problems and provide solutions
  • Current driver's license
  • Proficiency in computer systems and Microsoft Office
  • Ability to work independently
