Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced estimator to lead the estimating process for residential and commercial projects.

As a senior estimator, you will be responsible for analyzing drawings, plans, and specifications to prepare accurate cost estimates and bills of quantities. You will also source competitive pricing from subcontractors and suppliers, negotiate terms where required, and collaborate with project teams to ensure budgets align with client and delivery requirements.

  • Manage the full estimating process from tender to submission across residential and commercial projects.
  • Analyze drawings, plans, and specifications to prepare accurate cost estimates and bills of quantities.
  • Source competitive pricing from subcontractors and suppliers, negotiating terms where required.
  • Collaborate with Directors and project teams to ensure budgets align with client and delivery requirements.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • 5+ years' experience in estimating within residential and commercial construction.
  • Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, building codes, and cost planning.
  • Proven ability to deliver accurate tenders on projects up to multi-million-dollar value.
  • Excellent negotiation and relationship management skills with subcontractors and suppliers.
  • Proficiency in estimating software and MS Excel; exposure to Procore advantageous.
