Job Title: Experienced Construction Estimator

We are seeking an experienced construction estimator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a sound understanding of construction, strong communication, negotiation and analytical skills.

About the Role:

">
  • Work closely with senior estimators, project managers and other key stakeholders to achieve project goals.
  • Interpret architectural plans, specifications and other project documents to understand the scope and requirements of construction projects.
  • Prepare quantity take-offs to quantify materials, labor and other resources needed for projects, and calculate estimated costs.
  • Manage subcontractor and material inquiries, including preparing and sending out requests for quotations (RFQs) to subcontractors and suppliers.
  • Assist in preparing tenders and Bills of Quantities (BOQs), and support the creation of commercial aspects of tender submissions to clients.
  • Database management: keep accurate records of cost estimates, quotations and project documents for future reference and project follow-up.

Requirements:

  • Solid understanding of construction principles.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation and analytical skills.
  • Knowledge in the use of Cubits and MS Projects is beneficial.
