This is a challenging role for individuals with experience working in fast-paced environments looking to build on their careers in consulting, advisory, transactional due diligence, assurance, reviews, or policy reform and design.
The Reviews and Reform team within the Policy and Budget Group spearheads innovative fiscal reform initiatives and provides strategic advice to ensure the sustainability of the State's finances.
Job Summary: As a Senior Advisor, you will play a pivotal role in delivering projects to propose strategic, creative solutions to improve resource allocation and efficiency for various government agencies.
You will analyse and evaluate government expenditure, organisational structures, and service delivery to identify fiscal sustainability and strategic reform opportunities that inform evidence-based recommendations and advice to senior executives and Government.
Key Responsibilities:
- Apply critical-thinking and problem-solving experience within a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Manage projects and build robust stakeholder relationships.
- Conduct financial due diligence and analysis, or program and policy evaluation.
- Communicate complex information, including to senior stakeholders.
- Hold tertiary qualifications in economics, accounting, finance, law, business, public policy or a related discipline.
