Senior Strategic Consultant


About the Role:
  • This role is responsible for spearheading innovative fiscal reform initiatives and providing strategic advice to ensure the sustainability of state finances.
  • The team collaborates with various government agencies to optimise resource allocation and enhance service delivery efficiency by offering strategic advice, conducting project-based reviews, and developing frameworks to boost financial accountability.

Main Responsibilities:
  1. Deliver projects that propose strategic solutions to improve resource allocation and efficiency for various government agencies.
  2. Analyse and evaluate government expenditure, organisational structures, and service delivery to identify fiscal sustainability and strategic reform opportunities that inform evidence-based recommendations and advice to senior executives and Government.

Requirements:
  • Critical-thinking and problem-solving experience in a fast-paced dynamic environment.
  • Project management and stakeholder relationship-building skills.
  • Experience in consulting, strategy development, financial due diligence and analysis, or program and policy evaluation.
  • Ability to communicate complex information effectively to senior stakeholders.
  • Tertiary qualifications in economics, accounting, finance, law, business, public policy, or a related field.
