Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Intelligence Analyst to join our team. As a key player in helping the business make informed decisions, you will own and improve our BI platform, enhance reporting capabilities, build and maintain dashboards, and ensure teams have access to the information they need when they need it.

Key Responsibilities
  • Owning and improving our BI platform, including hands-on reporting, governance, and maintenance
  • Enhancing reporting capabilities and building dashboards that provide meaningful insights
  • Collaborating with teams to ensure they have access to the necessary information
  • Developing and maintaining a strong understanding of data visualization tools and techniques
  • Staying up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in business intelligence
Requirements
  • 2-3 years' experience in data visualization, reporting, or analytics
  • Experience with BI tools (Looker, Tableau, Power BI) and a strong interest in designing user-friendly dashboards
  • Solid spreadsheet skills (Google Sheets or Excel) and exposure to SQL (BigQuery is a plus)
  • A sharp eye for detail and a knack for structure and consistency
  • Strong communication skills and a genuine desire to help others
Preferred Qualifications
  • Auditing our BI platform and drafting a plan to make the environment more intuitive, consistent, and organized
  • Meeting with marketing teams to understand campaign goals and building dashboards to track key metrics
  • Reviewing and refining dashboards used across the business to monitor product performance
  • Exploring Looker release notes and rolling out improvements where useful
  • Developing standardized reporting templates to streamline sales report creation
  • Pairing with another Analyst to help configure custom fields and recommend data visualizations
  • Holding training sessions with new team members to help them self-serve using BI tools
Location and Hours

This is a full-time role based in Melbourne with flexibility to manage time wisely and balance work and personal life.
