The Role

This role focuses on uplifting agile delivery capability teams by prioritizing customer needs and fostering continuous improvement. You will work collaboratively with stakeholders to deliver transformative business outcomes.

You will cultivate innovation within your team and partners, promoting a culture of life-long learning and growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead high-performing teams to achieve continuous quality delivery, emphasizing customer-centricity and outcome-driven approaches
  • Coach teams on agile methodologies, facilitating continuous improvement and maturity growth
  • Provide transparent progress updates throughout sprints
  • Utilize technical expertise to remove obstacles and identify risks within teams
  • Facilitate interdependency management across teams and projects
  • Collaborate with project management to provide estimates and resource requirements for forward planning
  • Identify and mitigate technical and delivery risks
  • Develop high-performing teams through a culture of continuous improvement, including decision-making facilitation and distraction minimization
  • Work closely with Product Owners and Project Managers during sprints, discussing designs, backlogs, and product demonstrations
  • Proactively manage demand and capacity with stakeholders to deliver prioritized and approved demand, minimizing key person dependencies
  • Ensure platform reliability and high availability as per agreed service levels

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of practical experience as an Iteration Manager or Scrum Master
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and facilitation skills
  • Continuous improvement mindset
  • Leadership and negotiation skills
  • Able to coach/mentor agile team members
  • Relevant tertiary qualification preferred
