About the Role

We are seeking a Radiation Therapist to join our dynamic team at Austin Health. As a Radiation Therapist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the delivery of exceptional healthcare services.

Job Description

The successful candidate will have excellent technical skills, strong interpersonal and communication abilities, and a commitment to ongoing professional development. You will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to deliver comprehensive radiation therapy services to patients. Your expertise in RT planning on the Elekta Monaco platform and treatment delivery on Elekta linacs will be highly valued.

A regular day will involve assessing and treating patients, liaising with family members and caregivers, facilitating a coordinated approach to patient management, and documenting patient care. You will also participate in continuing education activities and contribute to quality improvement initiatives.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Radiation Therapist qualification and current AHPRA registration
  • Ability to provide treatment for a wide variety of clinical conditions
  • Desire to work as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • Flexibility to work varying shifts
