Senior Client Services Officer Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced professional to manage public housing waitlists, profile clients, and allocate properties effectively.

The successful candidate will provide high-quality customer service to clients seeking assistance with accommodation in public housing, referrals to support services, and information relating to public housing programs and financial assistance.

Key duties include:

  • Managing public housing waitlists and allocating properties to maximise the provision of housing and minimise rent loss.
  • Profiling clients and allocating properties based on individual needs.
  • Providing advice, issuing formal correspondence, and recording data accurately.

Requirements:

  • Experience working independently, confidentially, and effectively in a service delivery environment.
  • Well-developed written and verbal communication skills, including excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to engage effectively, build relationships, and communicate sensitively and credibly with Aboriginal tenants, clients, and stakeholders.

This is a fixed-term position for 20 months. The remuneration package includes superannuation, annual leave loading, and paid shutdowns.
