Urban Housing Leader Position

The Urban Housing Operations team requires a skilled leader to provide effective support and direction.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Evaluating client needs and implementing key reforms;
  • Developing staff capabilities through training and coaching;
  • Maintaining strategic partnerships with stakeholders, service providers, and government agencies to deliver high-quality housing services and homelessness solutions.

This leadership role demands expertise in personnel management, excellent written and verbal communication skills, including strong interpersonal skills to engage effectively with Aboriginal tenants, clients, and partners.

Role Responsibilities

Deliver superior tenancy management services to public housing residents while adhering to relevant legislation;

Provide authoritative advice and information to the public on matters governed by legislation and various public housing programs;

Foster collaborative relationships with key stakeholders, service providers, and government agencies to deliver exceptional housing services and homelessness initiatives.

Requirements

Excellent written and verbal communication skills;

Strong interpersonal skills to build effective relationships and communicate sensitively with Aboriginal tenants, clients, and stakeholders;

Proven experience in personnel management; and

Superior analytical and problem-solving skills.
