Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales and Events Coordinator to join our team at the Rye Hotel. As a Sales and Events Coordinator, you will be responsible for assisting with the design, costing, and organizing of function packages, establishing and maintaining a customer database, making sales calls, and coordinating function sales initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with the development and implementation of sales strategies to increase revenue and grow the customer base.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with existing and potential customers to promote the hotel's services and products.
  • Coordinate and execute events, conferences, and functions to ensure seamless execution and high customer satisfaction.
  • Manage and maintain accurate records of customer interactions, sales calls, and event details.
  • Collaborate with the hotel's management team to develop and implement sales and marketing initiatives.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in sales and events coordination, preferably in the hospitality industry.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and colleagues.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible and adaptable approach to work.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software applications.
