Function and Sales Manager - Shoppingtown Hotel

Are you a sales and events professional looking for a new challenge? Do you have a passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences? We're seeking a highly motivated and experienced Function and Sales Manager to join our team at the Shoppingtown Hotel.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist with the design, costing, and organization of function packages to meet customer needs and exceed expectations.
  • Establish and maintain a customer database to ensure effective communication and relationship-building.
  • Make sales calls, follow up, and secure sales in a timely manner to drive revenue growth.
  • Coordinate function sales initiatives to promote the hotel's services and increase bookings.
  • Prepare quotes within 24 hours to ensure timely responses to customer inquiries.
  • Liaise with suppliers and contractors to ensure seamless execution of events and functions.
  • Update and maintain promotional materials, including online platforms, to showcase the hotel's offerings.
Requirements:
  • Display a genuine passion for the hospitality industry and a flair for sales and events.
  • Prior experience in functions sales leadership, with the ability to develop and motivate a team.
  • Proven ability to develop strategic plans, establish goals, and deliver projects on time.
  • Exceptional stakeholder management skills, with the ability to manage inbound enquiries for functions across multiple sites.
  • Flexible availability to meet the demands of the role.
