Key Responsibilities
  • Provide administrative support to clients and staff while maintaining a professional, caring, and friendly demeanor in a fast-paced environment.
  • Act as the first point of contact for patients, providing excellent customer service both face-to-face and over the phone.
  • Book and confirm patients for appointments and consultations, ensuring timely scheduling and follow-up communication.
  • Billing and receipting at the time of appointment, accurately processing relevant paperwork, including data entry.
  • Manage patient records and filing of patient notes, ensuring confidentiality and accessibility.
  • Liaise with the team to ensure efficient processes and smooth clinic operations.
Requirements
  • Previous medical industry experience, preferably in a similar role.
  • Eagerness to learn new systems and applications for managing patient and doctor requests.
  • Able to demonstrate ongoing patient care and customer service skills, showcasing strong communication abilities.
  • Prior experience working individually or as part of a team, with adaptability to changing priorities.
  • Knowledge of patient billing systems and related Medicare mechanisms is highly valued.
  • Excellent phone manner, with the ability to handle a high volume of patient inquiries, possessing exceptional organizational skills.
