Technician - Electrical Maintenance Specialist

This position is a full-time opportunity for an Electrical Maintenance Technician to join our team. The successful applicant will work on a permanent basis and report directly to the Electrical maintenance workshop supervisor.
Main Responsibilities- Perform routine and preventative maintenance on equipment, including vulcanisers, winches, winders, generators, and conveyor maintenance equipment.
- Test and tag equipment to ensure it meets safety standards.
- Fault find control systems to identify and resolve issues efficiently.
- Conduct planned and unplanned maintenance on assets in accordance with company policies and procedures.
- Follow specific electrical maintenance inspections and procedures to maintain high-quality results.
- Demonstrate commitment to company values, statutory obligations, and industry best practices.
- Identify and report safety incidents and hazards to line leaders.
- Provide support and carry out daily inspections, planned maintenance, and attend breakdowns as required.
- Execute work orders to a high standard and in a timely manner.
- Educational qualifications in electrical engineering or a related field.
- HR class manual drivers licence.
- HRWL Forklift, Dogging and Rigging certifications.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Familiarity with conveyor maintenance.
- Knowledge of tasks related to maintaining fixed plant equipment (desired).
- The ability to apply expertise to analyse and solve problems effectively.
