The successful candidate will have a strong background in environmental risk management, with experience in developing and implementing risk management frameworks, policies, and procedures.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement a comprehensive risk management framework to identify, assess, and mitigate environmental risks.
- Provide strategic direction and oversight to the Environment team, ensuring effective management of environmental risks and opportunities.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across the organization to ensure alignment with business objectives and risk management strategies.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including regulators, customers, and suppliers.
- Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
- Provide expert advice and guidance to the business on environmental risk management and sustainability.
- Develop and implement training programs to ensure the Environment team has the necessary skills and knowledge to effectively manage environmental risks.
- Monitor and report on environmental risk management performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
- Proven experience in environmental risk management, with a strong background in developing and implementing risk management frameworks, policies, and procedures.
- Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to provide strategic direction and oversight to a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with stakeholders across the organization.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate environmental risks.
- Knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with multiple priorities and deadlines.
