The Role

We are seeking a highly organized and talented Marketing Assistant to support and drive the portfolio. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting in the delivery of financial goals, reporting on category and brand performance, implementing brand strategy and activation, and leading product development and change projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Contribute to and drive implementation of 1-5 year strategic plan for the homecare portfolio.
  • Support the development and execution of brand plans.
  • Manage innovation ideation process and New Product Development (NPD) program, working with cross-functional teams to deliver projects.
  • Measure and monitor category and brand performance.
  • Assist in developing and implementing communications programs across ATL (TVC, radio, OOH, etc).
  • Coordinate and collaborate with external advertising agencies, design agencies, market research, and packaging companies to support development and delivery of all projects and events.
  • Responsibility for the Morning Fresh website and its maintenance, including administration support, processing of invoice payments and accruals, monthly reporting.
Requirements
  • Relevant tertiary qualification in Marketing/Business/Commerce.
  • Minimum of 1 year experience as an Assistant Brand Manager in an FMCG environment, preferably homecare.
  • High level of attention to detail and love managing projects.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with managing advertising/marketing and digital/social media plans.
  • Consumer activation programs.
  • Project Management with a specific focus on New Product Development.
