About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Wool Sales and Marketing Professional to help us grow our WA wool business. As a key member of our team, you will provide wool sales and marketing expertise to clients, achieving sales & earnings targets.
Responsibilities
As a Wool Sales and Marketing Professional, you will:
- Assist District Wool Managers, Territory Sales Managers, and other branch staff in developing management plans for high-earning clients.
- Monitor wool receivables against the plan and budget/forecast, investigating variations and trends.
- Maintain knowledge of wool clients and their activities, as well as market trends that may impact those activities.
- Identify trends and developments in the wool industry and provide this information to clients and staff.
- Assist in the development of print and other media promotions to raise awareness of Elders Rural wool.
- Coordinate and facilitate client group meetings.
- Attend and assist in running field days, information sessions, demonstrations, or other events.
- Assist in coaching and training other staff on wool knowledge and sales skills.
- Work constructively with other team members to support a collaborative culture.
- Role model and embed the One Elders Rural values.
About You
To succeed at Elders Rural, you will have:
- A wool classing certificate (desirable).
- 2–5 years' experience within the wool industry across various roles.
- A solid understanding of wool products and the overall market.
- A sound understanding of risk management and available products.
- A record of sales achievement.
- Solid administrative and organizational skills.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
