
Information Governance Specialist

As a key member of an Information Management Team, you will play a vital role in providing a range of services across the directorate including Freedom of Information (FOI), Open Access, Delegations Registration and Management, Privacy, and Information Management.
The successful candidate will work collaboratively within a team environment to deliver FOI services across the organisation, while assisting with developing good governance guidance for information access. Strong communication skills and attention to detail are essential.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a dynamic team environment and has a strong understanding of records management principles. You will be responsible for performing statutory functions under the Freedom of Information Act 2016, including collecting, collating and preparing responses for relevant parties, as well as maintaining high levels of confidentiality.
You will also have the opportunity to support the Information Management team and actively participate in Corporate Management activities. A tertiary qualification in Public Administration, Law or other related discipline would be highly regarded, although study towards it is also considered valuable.
