Our team is dedicated to delivering flexible, responsive, and individualized support that meets the unique needs of each participant.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Providing support to participants with physical and intellectual disabilities.
  • Understanding and providing appropriate care for participants with varying needs.
  • Assisting with daily living activities, transportation, community support, and recreational activities.
  • Implementing practices that promote a healthy lifestyle.
  • Supporting participants requiring sensitivity and trauma-informed approaches.
  • Administering medication as outlined in participant plans.
  • Monitoring and reporting on behavior support plans.

Requirements

  • A current first aid certificate within 3 years.
  • A current CPR certificate within 12 months.
  • National standard police clearance check within 12 months.
  • Working with children's check (WWCC).
  • NDIS worker screening check (NDISWSC).
  • Unrestricted Australian driver's license.
  • Comprehensive third-party car insurance.
  • NDIS new worker orientation module certifications.
  • Covid 19 infection control training certification.
  • Preferred: Certificate III/IV in Disabilities.
  • Preferred: Minimum 12 months experience supporting individuals with cognitive and psychosocial disabilities.

Benefits

This is a casual position working a rotating roster across afternoons, mornings, nights, and weekends.
