Job Opportunity: Disability Support

We are seeking passionate and committed Support Workers to deliver high-quality supports and services in a compassionate manner.

A Support Worker is responsible for the well-being of individuals in their daily lives. If you are passionate about making a real difference in people's lives, then this role may be suitable for you.

Our Support Workers strive to support people with disabilities to reach their goals. Specifically, they support participants with social, community, and recreational participation, in-home support, personal care, and daily living activities.

  • Assisting participants with their personal care
  • Assisting with community access and participation in social and recreational activities
  • Providing both physical and emotional support
  • Providing care in accordance with their care plan
  • Maintaining accurate shift notes

To be considered for this position, you will need:

  • A Certificate III or IV in Disability, Individual Support, or a related field (or willingness to obtain)
  • A current First Aid Certificate (or willingness to obtain)
  • A valid driver's license and reliable transportation
  • NDIS Screening Check (or willingness to obtain)
  • NDIS Workers Module
  • Infection control training certificate

Key Responsibilities:

Provide support and care to individuals with disabilities in their daily lives.

Develop and implement individualized care plans that meet the needs and goals of each participant.

Maintain accurate records and reports, including shift notes and client progress.

Requirements:

A strong understanding of disability support principles and practices.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Physical and mental stamina to perform the demands of the role.
