About the Role

As a dedicated support worker, you will form meaningful connections with individuals living with disabilities, helping them achieve positive outcomes such as improved employability skills, social interaction, independence, personal growth, and enhanced overall well-being.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide tailored support to participants with high needs, focusing on behavioral assistance and advocacy.
  • Lead small groups in engaging activities, fostering a sense of community and belonging.
  • Be adaptable and available to work across diverse programs, ensuring seamless support for varying needs.
  • Assist clients in understanding their employment-related duties and optimize productivity.
  • Effectively communicate to advocate for participants' interests in their workplace settings.

You will also be required to provide complex behavioral support and maintain accurate documentation to facilitate collaboration with clinical support networks.

Requirements
  • A current full Australian driver's license is essential.
  • Meet the current COVID-19 vaccine requirement – medical exemptions are acceptable.
  • Complete relevant NDIS/DHS checks and clearances, in accordance with role requirements.

We seek an individual willing to use their personal vehicle for one-on-one transportation and has experience working with interpreting, referencing, and providing support from clinical plans.
