As a Communications Advisor, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and delivering communication strategies that drive engagement, enhance reputation, and support organisational priorities.

Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated communications professional to join our team and contribute to the development and implementation of campaigns and initiatives that align with our organisational priorities. As a key member of our communications team, you will work closely with internal stakeholders to design and deliver targeted campaigns, manage media relations, and take responsibility for our digital presence.

You will be responsible for driving integrated communication and engagement strategies, providing informed strategic advice, and enhancing visibility through targeted media campaigns and proactive media engagement. Additionally, you will monitor digital performance, adapt strategies to meet community expectations, and support community events, key initiatives, and crisis communication when required.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Tertiary qualifications in Communications, Journalism, or related field (or significant experience).
  • Strong expertise in strategic communication, stakeholder engagement, and media relations.
  • Proven ability to deliver impactful messaging across digital and traditional platforms.
  • The ability to manage communication challenges in high-pressure situations.
