Role Overview

As a Hospital Specialist Representative, you will be working in the Cardiovascular & Diabetes field, responsible for promoting a market-leading product to Cardiologists, Geriatricians, Nurses, and pharmacists in Southern Sydney and Canberra territories.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated and business-focused individual to join our team. You will work closely with the GP team as a product expert, supporting meetings and mentoring local Primary Care Representatives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute strategies to promote the product to healthcare professionals in the specified territory.
  • Collaborate with the GP team to provide product expertise and support meetings.
  • Mentor and support local Primary Care Representatives to achieve sales targets.
  • Coordinate and manage functions designed to add value to customers, including in-service programs, journal clubs, and case conferences.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you should have:

  • A relevant tertiary qualification in science, healthcare, or business.
  • Experience as a hospital sales representative with strong business acumen and lateral thinking skills.
  • Cardiovascular &/or Diabetes experience is advantageous but not essential.
  • The ability to think strategically and make data-driven decisions.
  • An excellent communication and interpersonal skill set.
