Workforce Planning Analyst

Are you a strategic thinker with a passion for workforce planning? Do you have a knack for analyzing complex data and identifying opportunities for improvement? We're looking for a talented Workforce Planning Analyst to join our team at Qantas Group.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to work with our Workforce Planning team, where you'll be responsible for creating and optimizing crew pairings and rostering to achieve optimal operational consistency and reduce expenses. You'll work closely with internal and external stakeholders to present data sets and improvements to the business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement workforce planning strategies to improve operational efficiency and reduce costs
  • Analyze complex data sets to identify trends and opportunities for improvement
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to present data-driven insights and recommendations
  • Conduct thorough evaluations of various planning scenarios to identify the most economical and operationally advantageous rostering strategies
Requirements
  • 2+ years of experience in workforce planning with a strong understanding of workforce planning fundamentals
  • Advanced analytic, strategic, lateral thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Highly developed written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrated capability and commitment to improve roster efficiency and utilization within a complex organization
