Agricultural Technology Leader

We are seeking an experienced Agricultural Technology leader to join our team. As the Director of Precision Technology, you will be responsible for providing strategic leadership and direction for our Agricultural technology product sales and support in the region.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead sales growth and profitability throughout the assigned territory.
  • Assist in achieving asset management goals of turnover, aging, and protecting company assets.
  • Provide guidance on forecasting the right inventory mix to achieve sales and market share goals in the assigned territory.
  • Develop standard machine specifications and technology offerings, and promote selling the features of these standards.
  • Manage and develop all sales staff to build a motivated and successful workforce focused on long-term success for the company and customers.
  • Facilitate and promote corporate sales strategy and initiatives through active participation in corporate strategic planning, sales strategy development, forecasting, sales resource planning, and budgeting.
  • Recruit, train, develop, and manage dedicated Branch sales staff in the Agricultural technology space.
  • Contribute to advertising, promotion, and marketing efforts in connection with the Sales Support and Marketing department.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of sales management experience and comprehensive knowledge of agricultural equipment.
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Highly motivated and self-directed.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and organisational skills.
  • Ability to build relationships and prospect new accounts.
  • Must be able to obtain or have a valid passport and travel internationally.
