About the Role


We are seeking a dedicated and customer-focused Equipment Support Specialist in Broken Hill to join our team. As an Equipment Support Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our customers receive top-notch support for their equipment needs, including technical machine support.



Responsibilities:

  • Assist customers with parts and service inquiries and orders.
  • Provide technical assistance and guidance on parts selection, installation, and troubleshooting.
  • Maintain accurate records of parts and service transactions.
  • Collaborate with our service department to schedule and coordinate repairs and maintenance.
  • Proactively identify and recommend additional products and services to meet customer needs.
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships through excellent communication.
  • Address and resolve customer complaints and issues in a timely manner.
  • Stay informed about the latest industry trends and product updates.
  • Offer technical machine support to customers, guiding them through diagnostics and solutions.
  • Support Account Managers in identifying and retaining customers, driving business growth, and securing projects.


Requirements:

  • Qualified mechanic, preferably with CAT machinery experience.
  • High mechanical aptitude and understanding of earthmoving equipment.
  • Previous experience in product support, and service within the construction equipment industry is a plus.
  • Excellent customer service and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Detail-oriented with good organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
