Job Summary

This full-time role commences on 31 January 2025, providing financial support services to the school. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with the school support team and staff from the Catholic Education Office.

Key Responsibilities

The key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Providing financial service requirements for the school, including working with an enterprise accounting package.
  • Collaborating with the school support team to ensure efficient operations.
  • Supporting staff in the Catholic Education Office with financial matters.
  • Managing budgets and monitoring performance against targets.
  • Maintaining confidentiality and handling sensitive information with care.
  • Utilizing MS Office and Google Suite applications proficiently.

Essential Selection Criteria

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess:

  • A strong commitment to the mission and purpose of the Catholic School within the broader Catholic Church.
  • Demonstrated experience working with enterprise accounting software.
  • Experience in setting and managing budgets.
  • Proven ability to recognize and handle confidential information effectively.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Suite applications.

Desirable Selection Criteria

  • Experience in collection processes.
  • Familiarity with Tech One and Compass systems.
  • Certificate II in Office Procedures or related study.

Salary and Benefits

The estimated salary for this role is approximately $80,000 per annum, based on industry standards for similar positions in the region.
