We are seeking a skilled Event Venue Team Lead to join our dynamic team in the vibrant Walsh Bay Arts precinct. This is an exciting opportunity for those with a keen interest in theatre and the arts, working alongside Australia's largest theatre company: Sydney Theatre Company.

Our STC venues are a hub of activity, offering a unique blend of dining, lively bars and events, all set against the backdrop of the city's most iconic theatres. As a leading hospitality group, The Fresh Collective is committed to delivering exceptional experiences with premium food and beverages in iconic venues throughout Australia.

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our event venues, ensuring that our high standards of service, presentation, and grooming are consistently met. Key responsibilities include multitasking and covering all aspects of operation, including coffee, bar, and floor service, as well as mentoring and guiding new colleagues.

We offer a competitive salary of approximately AU$65,000 per annum, based on 25-30 hours of work per week. In addition to a friendly and motivated team environment, we provide career development opportunities, access to amazing theatre performances, and great casual rates plus superannuation.

To be successful in this role, you will have 2-3 years of experience as a supervisor in a similar environment, with knowledge and passion for making all types of espresso coffee, including Latte Art. Event experience is highly regarded, and you will possess excellent communication skills, a positive attitude, and a strong ability to train and mentor other staff. Holding valid RSA certification and full working rights in Australia are also essential requirements.
