Support Services Specialist

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Services Specialist to provide crucial support, resources, and empathy to individuals experiencing homelessness. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Establishing and maintaining professional relationships with clients
  • Providing transport to clients participating in programs
  • Assisting clients with independent living skills education
  • Communicating with senior staff and external stakeholders regarding service referrals
  • Responding to and managing critical incidents and emergencies as required
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A minimum qualification of Certificate IV in Community Services, Alcohol and Other Drugs, Mental Health Services or similar
  • Understanding of trauma-informed care and the impacts of trauma on practice
  • Current SA driver's license
