Adelaide, South Australia Adelaide Specialist Support Coordinators Pty Ltd Full time

Welcoming all applicants Adelaide Specialist Support Coordinators is growing again and would love to hear from you.

Team of 15, seeking to grow to a team of 17

The team at Adelaide Specialist Support Coordinators aims to support people living with a disability to help achieve their unique personal goals. We address barriers they may be facing, whilst providing empathy and compassion to each individual and their experience with the NDIS.

About the Role

As a Specialist Support Coordinator, you would be joining a fun and supportive team who work autonomously across multiple sites.

Level 3 Specialist Support Coordination aims to:

  • Support individuals during times of crisis, complex, and urgent circumstances
  • Manage and implement the participant's NDIS plan
  • Achieve the outcomes identified in the participant's NDIS plan
  • Connect the participant with formal, mainstream, and funded support

The preferred candidates will have a working knowledge of delivering NDIS Specialist Support Coordination. However, as the successful candidate, you will have a self-directed passion and drive to support capacity-building activities for the people you support, and a collaborative approach in finding innovative solutions to complex situations.

Work/Life Balance & Flexibility

We strongly believe and promote a work/life balance by working from home.

Hours of operation are Monday to Friday (flexible) between 7am and 6pm.

Successful applicants will have the choice and autonomy regarding their caseload, including preferences for participant demographics (e.g., age groups, disability types, etc.). Everyone's caseloads are unique, and as an SSC, you can shape yours to suit your preferences.

The priority is to deliver high-quality service and genuinely support participants. ASSC does not work with KPIs or other performance measures.

Qualifications & Experience

Relevant tertiary qualification (e.g., Social Work, Developmental Educator, Occupational Therapist) and/or experience in Community Services Sector (Disability, Mental Health, Housing, Justice).

Excellent communication skills, including report writing and case notes.

Experience as a support coordinator, or ideally a specialist support coordinator under the NDIS, will be highly valued.

Application Process

Please send your cover letter and application to Malgosia (Sia) Kopec, Director, at admin@adelaidessc.com or apply via this Seek ad.

Due to the volume of applications, we may not respond to all directly.

Warm regards,

Sia and the team at Adelaide Specialist Support Coordinators
