Sales Manager

Pursehouse Rural is a leading independent Agribusiness specialising in agricultural produce, equipment, services and advice across various locations.

Our organisation is seeking a full-time Key Sales Manager to join our team at the Darling Downs region.

The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, developing and executing sales strategies for their local market, providing operational support to the Branch Manager and customer service employees.

Key duties include:

  • Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities to increase sales revenue
  • Identify and recommend additional product and market opportunities to relevant Business Managers
  • Develop and implement sales strategies aligned with the needs of your local market
  • Create new and maintain existing relationships with key suppliers and customers
  • Work in conjunction with the Branch Manager and customer service employees to arrange the sale and delivery of Pursehouse Rural products and services

Ideal candidates will possess:

  • Demonstrated experience in Sales and customer service role, preferably in the agricultural sector
  • Broad knowledge and experience across core areas of agribusiness such as seed, fertiliser, chemicals and animal health and nutrition
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to establish and maintain positive supplier and customer relationships
  • Proven experience in identifying and addressing market trends and customer needs
  • Demonstrated ability to identify opportunities for business development
  • Excellent organisational, time-management and planning skills
