Job Title: Debt Collection Specialist
About This RoleWe are seeking a highly skilled and proactive debt collection specialist to join our team.
- Collect outstanding fees by discussing individual circumstances and negotiating payment plans.
- Maintain debtor portfolios, engaging professionally with clients according to established policies.
- Accurately record collection activities and client communications.
- Meet with partners to address outstanding accounts and make recommendations.
- Escalate accounts as necessary, including credit provisions and referrals for legal action.
- Work with Partners to align credit practices with organisational standards.
- Process adjustments and reallocations.
- Resolve client fee queries within agreed timeframes.
- Manage Accounts Receivable mailboxes and respond to clients promptly.
- Perform ad hoc credit and administrative tasks.
- Ensure compliance with relevant legislation.
This role is available in various locations across the country.
Key Skills and QualificationsWe seek individuals with strong written and verbal communication skills, excellent customer service, negotiation, and dispute resolution abilities. The ideal candidate will have initiative, a proactive approach, and experience in professional services or similar roles.
