Debt Collection Specialist

    We are seeking a highly skilled Debt Collection Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our credit operations, you will play a vital role in ensuring the timely collection of outstanding debts.

  •     Maintain accurate records of collection activities and all communications with clients and internal stakeholders.
  •     Meet with partners to address outstanding accounts and make recommendations as needed.
  •     Escalate accounts as appropriate, including recommending credit provisions, work stoppages, final demands, or referrals for legal action.
Responsibilities

    Your primary responsibilities will include:

  •     Maintaining an assigned debtor portfolio, engaging professionally with clients in accordance with firm policies.
  •     Managing the Accounts Receivable mailbox, delivering prompt and courteous responses to clients.
  •     Contribute to ad hoc credit and administrative tasks as required.

  •     Strong written and verbal communication skills with a professional telephone manner.
  •     Excellent customer service, negotiation and dispute resolution abilities.
  •     Ability to build rapport and influence decision-making.
  •     Confidence in working with senior stakeholders, including executive leadership.
  •     Strong time management and organisational skills.
