Job Title:

Safety and Wellbeing Leader

This is a senior leadership position that oversees the delivery of safety and wellbeing services within a healthcare environment. The successful candidate will lead a team of professionals to develop relationships with stakeholders, monitor trends and legislation, and communicate impacts to the business.

The role requires a strategic leader with demonstrated experience in delivering safety and wellbeing services. Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and implementing strategies to improve workplace health and safety
  • Monitoring developments, trends, legislation and regulations related to safety and wellbeing, evaluating their impact on the hospital and communicating impacts to the business

The ideal candidate will have tertiary qualifications relevant to occupational health and safety, significant experience in delivering safety programs, and extensive capability with safety reporting. They will also possess strong relationship management and interpersonal skills, including the ability to create and sustain effective partnership approaches with internal and external stakeholders.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Tertiary qualifications in occupational health and safety or a related field
