About the Opportunity

The role of Health, Safety and Wellbeing Business Partner drives proactive implementation and improvement of a unified culture of safety, people, customer focus and operational excellence in line with a strategic priority.

This position enables a culture that prioritizes genuine care and well-being across a region.

The ideal candidate will engage in cultural change programs, develop and review site health, safety and wellbeing plans, participate in management reviews and manage change activities.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Promoting excellent customer relations and attending customer health, safety and wellbeing forums.
  • Developing and implementing communication plans for health, safety and wellbeing information dissemination.
  • Providing accurate and timely performance reports to business leaders.
  • Cordinating and delivering training programs to enhance understanding and effectiveness of a management system.
  • Conducting regular site inspections to drive improvements.
  • Investigating incidents using appropriate methodologies.
  • Supporting business leaders with emergency preparedness and business continuity activities.

The successful candidate will have a can-do attitude, relevant qualifications and experience in health, safety and wellbeing roles within transport and logistics.

Suitable skills include relationship management, internal auditing and knowledge of health, safety and wellbeing legislation and industry standards.
