Animal Welfare Investigator Opportunity

We are seeking a dynamic and adaptable individual to join our team as an Animal Welfare Investigator. This role is responsible for conducting state-wide investigations to ensure compliance with the Greyhound Racing Rules and associated NSW legislations, focusing on animal cruelty matters and related offenses.

About the Role:

As an Animal Welfare Investigator, you will have the chance to work collaboratively with a dedicated team to uphold high standards of animal welfare and industry regulation.

Key Responsibilities:
* Conduct thorough and meticulous investigations into animal cruelty matters and related offenses
* Ensure compliance with the Greyhound Racing Rules and associated NSW legislations
* Collaborate with the team to develop and implement effective strategies for promoting animal welfare and regulating the industry

Requirements:
* Probing interviewing skills to uncover the truth through skillful questioning techniques
* Regulatory experience in a compliant manner
* Investigative qualifications or experience in conducting thorough and meticulous investigations
* Excellent communication skills to effectively engage and connect with diverse stakeholders

* A competitive salary of $107,798 - $119,419 per annum (inclusive of employer's contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading)
