Business Analysis Expert

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Analysis Expert to join our team in shaping the future of payments for Australia.

This role will be responsible for effectively bridging the gap between business needs and technical solutions, contributing to the overall success of projects and initiatives, by providing analysis and documentation of business and system requirements for assigned AP+ initiatives and projects.

The core responsibilities of this role include gathering requirements through the entire delivery and operational lifecycle, modelling business processes, conducting data modelling and mapping, identifying risks and opportunities, and validating systems against requirements.

  • Gather requirements through the entire delivery and operational lifecycle, including defining and managing scope, requirements elicitation, analysis and documentation, and associated prioritisation activities.
  • Model business processes and identify opportunities for process improvements.
  • Conduct data modelling and mapping to support detailed analysis and enable effective solution design.
  • Identify risks, issues, and benefits of existing and proposed solutions and outline business impacts.
  • Validate systems, products, platforms and services against requirements, experience goals, metrics, and targets.
Key Qualifications

A Bachelor's degree and/or equivalent is required, along with 5-7 years of progressively responsible experience in business analysis, specifically in the payments technology and financial industry.

Essential Skills

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment, and proficiency in business analysis tools and techniques.

Experience working with business stakeholders to gather and document requirements, develop business cases, and conduct feasibility studies.

Ability to model business processes, conduct data analysis, and create visualisations to support business decision-making.
