Job Title: Disability Training Program Manager

This is a leadership role for a team that conducts high-quality disability training programs. The successful candidate will have extensive experience in designing and managing learning and development (L&D) training, preferably within the community care sector.

The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, with a proven track record of managing teams remotely and face-to-face. They should be familiar with traditional and modern training methods, tools, and techniques. Additionally, they must have excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.

About the Role:
  • Provide leadership and support to the Lived Experience Network who conduct the well-regarded 'Let's Talk Disability' training program.
  • Manage the roster and workshop calendar to ensure appropriate availability of team members and effective facilitation of LTD workshops.
  • Work with the L&D Marketing Executive to drive demand for LTD workshops with existing and potential clients.
  • Evaluate and report on learner satisfaction data pertaining to the LTD program.
  • Promote the Lived Experience Network to internal stakeholders, identify opportunities for integration with our operations and projects.
Required Skills and Qualifications:

The successful candidate will have at least 5 years' experience designing and managing L&D training, preferably within the community care sector. They should also have minimum 5 years' experience managing teams, both remotely and face-to-face. Familiarity with traditional training and modern training methods, tools, and techniques is highly desirable. A strong understanding of disability and accessibility issues would also be beneficial.
