Disability Connect Victoria are seeking Disability Support Workers in the Hampton East area for a specific program.

Our approach is to do 'Whatever It Takes' to provide our clients with the support they require - when and where they need it and it's our dedicated carers who share our values and vision that help make this happen.

This program is a 24/7 program so there are plenty of shifts available and overnight shifts will be required to be completed.

To Be Successful in This Role, You Will Need to Demonstrate the Following Qualities:

- Clear and effective communication
- Show initiative and self-motivation
- A positive and professional approach
- Attention to detail, accuracy in record management
- Good teamwork
- Good understanding of Behaviour Support Practices
- Open mindedness

Highly desirable:

- Experience providing support to Client with Complex Support Needs/Behaviours
- Manual handling certificate

You Will Also Need to Provide Evidence Of:

- Minimum of Certificate 3 Individual Support (Aged, Disability, Home & Community Care)
- NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Current First Aid (HLTAID003) completed within the last 3 years & CPR (HLTAID001) completed within the last 12 months
- Current Australian Driver's License (along with Car Insurance)
- Evidence of eligibility to work within Australia (Australian Passport/Australian Birth Certificate/ Working Visa No Restrictions)
- NDIS Orientation Module Certificate
- COVID19 Infection Training Certificate
